WHO WE ARE

Since November 2022, we’ve been providing a space for words and actions to flourish. There is power in shared action for the common good, and actors in the peace movement should not be in competition with each other. In our first year, our user groups included everything from campaigners to chess players. We also screened films, hosted accoustic gigs, panel discussions and political hustings, coffee mornings and held vigils. Countless visitors have dropped in for coffee and a chat, but we are not yet at full capacity.

We offer Associate posts to students and graduates, and we welcome interest from volunteers to help us keep the place open and be there for visitors – come by for an application form, or download it below.

ACCESSIBILITY

We are commited to making Words and Actions for Peace a space that is accessable and easy to use and enjoy for everyone. This is an ongoing and open process and we're always happy for suggestions on how to adapt the space as well as the website.
